By: Austin Alexander-February 9, 2008

HuffmanJ-stance.JPGThe Tim Christy Era was ushered in at Myrtle Beach High on Saturday as his Seahawks welcomed Aynor and Diamond Prospects into their facility for a Scout Day and scrimmage. An absolutely perfect February day pitted two teams 30 minutes apart with a great deal to prove entering the 2008 season.

Myrtle Beach has question marks behind the dish and on the mound after graduation left them in development mode. Expectations still exist, however. Sophomore Jared Huffman (right) and senior Bill Lackey will serve as lightening rods for this club and each were obviously the pulse of Christy’s first club at the Beach, a team has hopes of making racket in Region VI-3A.

Today, DP picks apart the tools and gives you a glance inside the Myrtle Beach baseball program.
