On November 5-6, Diamond Prospects conducted our 11th Annual ‘open’ Fall Showcase at River Bluff HS. This event was available to any 2017-2020 grad who has college-caliber ability! This showcase has been the jump-start to many careers and the recruiting of prospects over the years…and was again this time! August 13-14 marked the 9th Annual Palmetto Games, once again on the lawn of Founders Park at the University of South Carolina. This event has become our state’s marquee all-star setting for the top rising seniors, juniors and sophomores from the 864, 803 and 843 area codes, this weekend was no different! Each year our DP staff camps out in grandstands throughout our state. The culmination of what we see and many of the conversations we have result in what has become our marqee event – The Palmetto Games! Like every other year, our 9th Annual classic is a very strict, invite-only event, which is our code word to keep parental promotion at zero. -DIAMOND PROSPECTS SHOWCASE- River Bluff High School – June 7-8, 2017 Diamond Prospects announces our 12th Annual, two-day “open” showcase on Wednesday & Thursday, June 7-8, 2017 at Columbia’s River Bluff HS for 2018, 2019 and 2020 graduates. This showcase is designed for the player who possesses the abilities to play at the collegiate level or beyond. If you think you are that caliber of player, it would strongly benefit you to attend this event! TheDiamondProspects.com provides the #1 coverage of high school baseball in the state of South Carolina. We scout more prep baseball than anyone and write articles about the teams and players we see. We also conduct interviews with the top players across the Palmetto State, past and present. Our goal is to ensure that no player in our state gets overlooked! Diamond Prospects quickly became highly-regarded among college coaches and professional scouts in the Tri-State area, many staff’s and scouts across the Carolina’s have told us that checking the site’s contents have become part of their morning routine! In Baseball, Diamond Prospects —————————————————————————————— Bonus #1 : Following the morning workout, as the coaches and scouts are eating lunch, Diamond Prospects will provide you with the option of sitting in on “Recruiting 101”, a crash-course on the recruiting process. We will take approximately 45 minutes to counsel you through the maze that is often very confusing for players and their families. For more information on aspects that we will cover, please go to TheDiamondProspects.com. The cost for the seminar is $25 for the entire family. Bonus #2: DP will offer a scouting breakdown for players wanting more detailed feedback following their performance at the showcase. The info will provide players with a descriptive scouting report on pitching/swing mechanics, infield actions, arm actions and future projections of the player, etc. We’ll also recommend strategies for improvement to increase the player’s stock. DP will provide your jersey. Hitters: Bring wood bats. Cages will be available to hitters upon arrival and throughout the event in the covered facility.
