Most high schools in the upper part of the state have struggled to get on the field so far this February due to rainy conditions and saturated fields. Today was completely opposite of that. With sunny skies, a light breeze and temperatures hovering around 80 degrees, we couldn't have painted a better picture for baseball to take place. The last of three scrimmage dates here in the upstate and Belton-Honea Path High School was the landmark. Six teams came together for one of, if not, their last scrimmage before pre-season tournaments get underway.
Today’s lineup was as followed: Powdersville vs. St. Joseph’s, Byrnes vs. Easley and BHP hosting Eastside.
