Diamond Prospects Players of the week: 4/1 – 4/6

Each Monday during the High School season DP is going to announce a player, pitcher & team over the previous seven-day period. The selection process is based on players stats, observations/recommendations from our staff and prep coaches who weigh in with a nomination. This past week, dp was able to lay eyes on quite a few teams across our state mid-year. We look forward to bringing this to you every Monday as we highlight these prospects and a team that perform at a high level. As you know, these selections are never easy, but we will give it our best shot! Going forward, coaches who submit a viable candidate certainly helps! -Pitcher of the Week- AJ Cammarota – 2024, Blue Ridge, 1B/LHP, Georgia Southern signee: Big week for Cammarota on the bump as he fanned 15 batters in six innings of work. He also only allowed a couple of free passes and two hits as well. To get with his efforts on the mound, he clubbed a HR and batted .625.
