Chase Stapleton – Greenville HS: 3 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 9 K, 2 BB; 2-for-3, 2B, 2 RBI

Mauldin #2 vs Chapman #1 Game: Mauldin threw a no-hitter striking out thirteen while Chapman tossed a one-hitter striking out eleven in a 2-2 tie ballgame.

Hunter Graham – Georgetown HS: 3 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 6 K; 2-2, 2 2B, 2 runs

October 4

Luke Hostetler – Byrnes HS: 3 IP, 3 H, 3 K, 0 ER; 1-for-4, HR, 3 RBI

Ryan DeWald – Woodmont HS: DeWald made a diving, glove side snag at first base in the bottom of the seventh inning to rob LT Tolbert of a single. If DeWald doesn’t make this play, the middle of Mauldin’s line up would have been up with runners on the corners, one out, and down by three.

Jordan Coker – Byrnes HS: 3 IP, 6 K, 0 H; versus Greenville #2, earning the win.

Devon Ciufo – Hillcrest HS: Ciufo ran full speed into the wall robbing Cody Mitchell of a sure extra base hit.

Matt Tucker – JL Mann HS: 2-for-2, BB, HBP, 4 RBI.  2 clutch 2-RBI singles.

Steven Wohlrab – Greenville HS: 3 IP, 8 straight strikeouts 

Blue Ridge’s Hunter Smith, Alex Williams, and John Mason Reynolds combined for a no-hitter versus Chapman #2 in five innings.
