-19th Annual Lon Joyce Pro Day- River Bluff High School – January 28, 2023 Invitees 9:00 AM        Player Check-in begins Players put bags in 1B bullpen, cages are open for swings Scout Check-in begins at Football Stadium entrance 9:35-9:55      Players report to football field for a meeting & stretch (far end zone) 9:55-10:00    Meet with Scouts (near end zone, 10-yard line) 10:00-1:15    60’s on Football Field Defensive Workout: OF/C/INF Batting Practice (Wood) Bullpens {LF-Loosen arms, 3B Bullpen-warmup, Game Mound-live, one P at a time} 2:00             University of South Carolina pregame followed by intra-squad (Founders Park) Miscellaneous Info: OF: 2 throws to 3B, 2 to plate (4 total) C: 4 throws to 2B MIF: 2 at them, 1 6-4-3, back hand, forehand, slow-roller (6 total) 3B: 2 at them, 1 5-4-3, back hand, forehand, slow-roller (6 total) 1B: 2 deep throwing to 3B, 2 off bag throwing to 2B (4 total) BP: 10 swings, all wood, switch-hitters 6/6 Pitchers: 12 pitches, 4 FB / 3 CB / 3 CH / 2 Freebies (FB’s preferred) Most Important Thing: Please stay tuned to www.TheDiamondProspects.com in the days/hours leading up to the event for any last second announcements. DP will provide your jersey. The registration tables will be stationed at the River Bluff facility, up the RF line beside the football field and parking lot. Players are allowed to leave once they have completed their portion of the workout. Hitters: Bring wood bats. Cages will be available to hitters upon arrival and throughout the event in the covered facility. Please put all equipment in the 1B bullpen, not dugout. Parking: Please use the second school entrance and park beside/enter thru the football stadium. Parents: Please vacate the area behind home plate during the bullpens to make room for scouts to evaluate.
