-DP Developmental Fall League: Fall Gems-           Recognizing Peak Performers in the DPDFL October 3 Andrew Peterson & Nick Paschall- One out in sixth, ball up the middle is stopped on a diving play by Peterson, flipped to Paschall and he turns the double play to save the tying run from plating.  Alex Eubanks – Byrnes HS: Eubanks went 3-for-3 with two doubles and four RBI Tyler Polk & Tyler Crowe – Riverside HS: Polk and Crowe combined for a complete game one-hitter versus Woodruff Tuesday night.   September 26 Cory Thompson – Mauldin HS: Thompson was 3-for-4 with a triple and three RBI. He also recorded the save.  September 25 Glenn Batson – Greenville HS: Batson went 4-for-4 with two doubles and five RBI. September 24 Jordan Brabo – Blue Ridge HS: With two outs in the top of the seventh with a runner on first in a tie ballgame, Jordan Brabo doubled down the third base line driving in the go-ahead run.   Taylor Widener – South Aiken HS: Hit a jack and bumped 94 MPH on the mound. September 11 Tyler Thornton – Wade Hampton HS: Thornton brought the lumber to the yard as he went 2-for-2 with a walk, two homeruns, and four RBI. September 10 Adam Renwick – Dorman HS: Renwick was 2-for-2 with a single, walk and a Grand Slam. Jordan Coker – Byrnes HS: Coker picked up the save hurling 2.1 innings striking out five while going 1-for-2 with a double and 3-RBI from the plate.
