-Prospect Info: Jordyn Adams – Blythewood, Sophomore, UTL: Adams is playing SS for the Bengals but projects as a premium level outfielder, probably in CF for most colleges and pro organizations. Adams shows maturity on the field with advanced instincts. Adams can clearly run, 4.18 on a turn, highly unusual to get a turn time in range. But it was the AB that he had before that running time that stood out most. Facing a solid HS arm, he took strike 1 and strike 2 on pitches that were well off the outside edge of the plate, never showing disgust or negative body language. Down 0-2, the pitcher justifiably went to the well again and Adams lined a bullet into the right-centerfield gap for his stand-up triple…and it looked like his quick, long strides could have rounded all the bases. Special player, no-brainer for schools at any level.
