DP stopped into Socastee High School tonight to see whom the 3A Region VIII Championship trophy would be awarded to. The Braves hosted St. James in a repeat of last year’s title game. Anders DeShields (left) took the mound for the Sharks and the Braves countered with sophomore right-hander Dylan Thompson.
