The 2019 Mauldin Mavericks return eight starters from last year who finished 16-9 overall, and a record of 9-3 in Region II-5A. For the majority of 2018, the Mavs started five sophomores and a freshman. The experience gained for several young, talented players bodes well for a successful spring campaign.
