-Diamond Prospects Events-

In 2010, Diamond Prospects will host six events. On January 31, we cranked up the new year at Capital City Stadium by conducting our 4th Annual Pro Day, kicking off the new baseball season a day before spring practice began!

FYI, in May of 2009, we held our first select Pre-Draft Workout for pro scouts, 12 players were eventually selected in the MLB Draft and/or signed from that event.

This summer DP will host an 'open showcase' for 2011, 2012 and 2013 graduates June 8-9, and have the 3rd Annual 'invite-only'

Palmetto Games

General FYI: Over the past two summers, Diamond Prospects introduced the Palmetto Games to the state of South Carolina. Over 100 of the top players participated each year and 100+ college coaches/pro scouts were in attendance... Also, all 31 SC prep players that were selected in the 2007-2010 Major League Draft had previously participated in a DP event. DP Showcases are just one more way to expose South Carolina's top talent to decision-makers beyond high school!
