Week 2 got underway last night with 24 teams locking horns here in the Upstate Fall League. Tonight, 22 teams squared off giving DP the opportunity to bounce around and catch three games at two different locations.
One could literally throw a rock from St. Joseph's field to JL Mann’s field creating a perfect storm for us to lay eyes on over sixty players. We started out catching the first couple of frames between Knight’s #2 vs Rams #3 at 5:15pm. We then slid over to JL Mann for a 6pm first pitch between Pats #2 vs. the Fighting Tigers. After posting up for 3 innings, we jumped right back over to St. Joseph’s for the nightcap between Knights #1 vs. Red Devils.
Tonight was exactly what we hoped it would be with established players continuing to solidify their prospect status and baby boomers getting their names on the radar.
*For the Fall League, focus is solely prospect driven. There are no game recaps.
