Caleb Singleton sprinted his way onto the college baseball landscape during the post-Pandemic green light that put him in the front seat of available prospects. The Goose Creek High School shortstop/outfielder has signed to play at Lander University and comes from a baseball pedigree as his brother Chris Singleton played at Charleston Southern and later was a Chicago Cubs farmhand. Many may remember the tragedy in Charleston where nine people at the Emmanuel A.M.E. church perished in 2015. Caleb’s mother, Sharonda Coleman-Singleton was one of the “Charleston Nine”, understandably Caleb declined to discuss that portion of his life. But he did let us get to know him better in his dp Spotlight, enjoy!
