DP Q&A: Alex Edmondson

Alex Edmondson is a 6’3” RHP from Simpsonville, South Carolina and attends Mauldin High school where he has played on the varsity team since his 8th grade year. He was selected to participate in his first Palmetto Games with Diamond Prospects as an 8th grader and has been selected to attend every year since. As a junior Alex was ranked as one of the top 30 players in the country by Perfect Game Baseball as well as one of the top right-handed pitching prospects for the 2020 MLB draft. Alex was invited in 2019 to participate in the PDP League in Bradenton, Florida as well as to the Perfect Game National Showcase at Chase Field in Phoenix, Arizona before his season-ending injury. Alex was also a participant in the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania in 2015. During the 2015 Little League World Series he threw a no-hitter against New England. Following Alex’s senior season, he will attend Clemson University and plans to major in Sports Communication.
